Wide range of real ales, a heated patio/ garden area for smokers and TV.  We offer traditional pub games: table skittles and pool table. We have a football team and a golfing society, shooting syndicates, both clay and pheasant.

We have live music on a Saturday night.

The other side of the Hill to Goblin Coombe ( a local beauty spot) and close to some great walking, the Golden Lion is also ideally placed as a resting spot for any walkers.
